"Fundraising & Events"

Wade Event Photography has provided services to Camp SAM for 3 years. Pictures have been displayed on the Camp SAM website, but generally not at a resolution sufficient for prints. We are pleased to work with Camp SAM to make pictures available to you. We are campers and the proud parents of a liver cancer survivor. About 75% of the proceeds will be given to Camp SAM. This is a way you can get prints of your pictures and continue to help support Camp. If you are interested in purchasing photos from events please click here.

Saturday, February 20, 2010 Red Nose Ball Camp Smile-A-Mile''''s largest fundraiser of the year will be held at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center. The Ball is a silent and live auction with a seated dinner and band. The items auctioned off are kindly donated by area businesses. Click here for a list of the live auction items.

Saturday, May 15, 2010 Ride of Love This one day 150 mile bicycle ride is a fundraiser which begins in Tuscaloosa and ends at the campsite facility. Riders will arrive to the cheering crowd of our volunteers, patients and their families who will be attending family camp that weekend. Saturday, June 12, 2010 Camp SAM Motorcycle Ride This 100 mile ride is a fundraiser which starts at Barber''s Motorsports Museum and ends at the campsite facility. Riders will have an opportunity to meet patients, ages 6-12 and have lunch with them on their last day of the weeklong Youth Camp.

Thursday, June 24, 2010 Funky Monkey Auction A silent auction hosted and organized by the Camp SAM Jr. Board of Directors at 6 p.m. at B & A Warehouse with music by Z and the Party Factory.

Saturday, September 11, 2010 Walking for Smiles This one mile fun walk, place TBA, is hosted and organized by the Camp Smile-A-Mile Junior Board of Directors. We would love for Camp SAM families, volunteers and friends to participate in this fun walk to raise money for camp and enjoy the kids activities, music and more.
